eight times lighter than clay or concrete tile, and four to five
times lighter than so-called "lightweight concrete" or
fiber-cement products. Compared to Gerard Tile, this represents
the weight of seven full-size cars added to your home's roof deck
and walls. In addition, the interlocking features of Gerard Tile
actually improve the structural rigidity of a home in case of an
earthquake. This same interlocking feature helps to make it
