SPACE AGE
Space AgeŽ Reflective Insulation is a lightweight,
pliable insulation that contains no scratchy, harmful fibers.
Space Age consists of a compact shape polyethylene air bubble
sandwich between reflective aluminum foil.
Space AgeŽ reflects 97% of radiant heat energy,
keeping buildings cooler in the summer and warmer in the winter.
Space AgeŽ is available with the reflective surface on
one side and a white poly surface on the other (WBBF), or with
reflective surfaces on both sides (FBBF).
WHY SPACE AGEŽ WORKS...
Radiant heat or infrared works in the same way as
visible light; heat is generated when this energy is
absorbed. Common insulation products, like most building
materials, will absorb a large percentage of the radiant
energy they encounter. Testing has shown the Space Age
surface reflects 97% of radiant heat. |
