SPACE AGE
Space Age® Reflective Insulation is a lightweight,
pliable insulation that contains no scratchy, harmful fibers.
Space Age consists of a compact shape polyethylene air bubble
sandwich between reflective aluminum foil.
Space Age® reflects 97% of radiant heat energy,
keeping buildings cooler in the summer and warmer in the winter.
Space Age® is available with the reflective surface on
one side and a white poly surface on the other (WBBF), or with
reflective surfaces on both sides (FBBF).
WHY SPACE AGE® WORKS...
Radiant heat or infrared works in the same way as
visible light; heat is generated when this energy is
absorbed. Common insulation products, like most building
materials, will absorb a large percentage of the radiant
energy they encounter. Testing has shown the Space Age
surface reflects 97% of radiant heat. |
